Are you in the right place?

This section of the website is for Applicants and others MANAGING PERFORMANCES involving children who need to have a Child Performance Licence under the terms of the Children and Young Persons Acts 1933 and 1963.

You cannot use this section if you are a PARENT or carer with PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES.

If you are a parent or carer with parental responsibilities please go to the right section by clicking here.

NOTE :: If you are an applicant acting on behalf of your own children, you need to complete both parts of this website.

By law, the time limit for licensing authorities is 21 days before the first performance or activity. However in order to support children in accessing opportunities for performance, we aim to issue a licence on a 10 day arrangement, as long as all documents are filled in correctly.

Revision/Additional dates to license
If you require revision/additional dates to license after license has been issued then please request this on the child’s application and upload any necessary documents with at least FIVE full working days notice. Failure to do this is likely to result in refusal. The new documentation we require is (if relevant) new risk assessment, copy of chaperones license(s), school absence authorisation letter, performance schedule etc.
