Local Authorities may purchase the Premium version for a complete solution, or the Supporter version to allow your applicants and parents to use KoS.
Kids On Stage (KoS) might be able to help you streamline your approach.
KoS allows parents and applicants to fill out online forms, and submit these seamlessly to the Local Authority for processing.
If the form is incomplete, or has elements missing or inappropriately put together it can be referred back to the applicant for completion.
A certain amount of change to the form is possible even after submission, to cope with the rare occasions where the requirements change rapidly.
An LA using KoS is able to turn these forms round in a few minutes if the applications are complete - including delivering the resulting licence to the applicant.
KoS is a useful tool for your applicants and parents. It is free for them to use, but the features are limited unless the LA in question supports KoS. Support can be through full subscription to KoS, or to a 'delivery only' subscription. The former is all singing, all dancing. The latter allows you to receive emailed forms into your email in-box.
The full Premium version files all your attachments for you, and generates the licence out of the submitted information without intervention. It is more expensive, but completely deals with your Child Performance Licensing.
The Supporter version lets you work the way you do now in terms of managing applications, but helps your parents and applicants deliver much better submissions.
